CRIA reports on January raw material prices in China
ERJ staff report (DS)
Beijing -- The China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA) has
published a comprehensive listing of raw materials prices in various
cities in China. The listing covers January prices of polymers
including NBR, EPDM, butyl, butadiene and SBR as well as chemicals such
as insoluble sulphur; calcium carbonate; various accelerators,
anti-oxidants; steelcord; beadwire; nylon and various grades of carbon
black.
The prices are tracked in seven cities including Beijing, Qingdao,
Hubei and Guangzhou, and are listed in yuan/tonne. The region of origin
of each material is also given -- the vast majority of materials are of
Chinese origin. In many cases, those familiar with the different
materials will be able to identify the vendor from this information.
