JSR reports Q3 sales up on 2011

Tokyo, Japan - JSR Corp is recovering from the earthquake in March this year. The company reported sales for the three months to December 2011 were 1.6 percent higher than the same period a year previously. Profits were slightly lower, however.
The company reported sales of yen 259.3 billion (euro 2602 million), but operating income was down by 2.9 percent, at yen 29 billion.
JSR said it expects full-year revenues to be up by 8.6 percent at yen 370 billion and operating profits to be up by 4.9 percent at yen 41 billion
