Rubber prices move up in Tokyo, down in India

London -- Rubber prices fell overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were up 5 yen, to close at yen 266 ($3.46) per kg on Thursday 05 January. Shorter-dated prices were up by down yen 1, trading at yen 248.
In Singapore, TSR20 for June delivery closed up $0.01 at $3.31, while short-dated contracts rose by $0.05, to $3.27.
In India, NMCE said January deliveries fell by Rs 4 overnight, to close at Rs 195 ($3.68).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw January 2012 deliveries unchanged to close at Yuan 26.4 ($4.18) per kilo.
