Contitech to build hose plant in Serbia

Subotica, Serbia -- ContiTech is to invest €10,070,000 in a new factory in Serbia to produce systems for various fluids used in the car industry, as well as other products such as pipes for turbo injectors, cooling liquids and similar.
This is ContiTech Fluid's second investment in Serbia. The company already owns Kolubara Univerzal and is reported to be in the final stages of negotiating another potential investment south of Belgrade.
ContiTech Fluid said it received €1 million in State aid, which represents €4,000 for each of the 250 workers to be employed at the Subotica plant.
Conti said Markus Murk, Vice-President ContiTech Fluid Technology signed an agreement in Serbia over the weekend to seal the deal.
