ERJ staff report (DS)
London -- London's Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) announced the completion of a key footbridge that spans over the River Lea, at a focal point between the Olympic Stadium and the Aquatics Centre. The footbridge and surrounding areas are covered in recycled rubber in a multi-colour design.
The bridge features a multi-coloured temporary deck which increases the width and thus the capacity for the Games Thius deck has been covered with a multi-coloured rubber surface inspired by the London 2012 brand colours. The temporary structure will be removed after the Games have finished.
