Beijing -- Data released by China Customs show that China's imports of synthetic rubber in September amounted to 123,573 tons. In the nine months from January to September, imports were 1,091,241 tons, a decrease of 7.9 percent over the same period last year.
Imports of natural rubber in September were 240,000 tons, up 26.3 percent over the same period last year and, up 20% compared with August.
In the first nine months, total imports grew by 7.7 percent .
