NR Prices jump over the weekend

London -- Rubber prices remained almost unchanged over the weekend, remaining solidly above $4. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract fell by half a yen, to close at yen 313.5 ($4.09) per kg on Monday 10 Oct. Shorter-dated pricesfell by about 3 yen to close at at yen 305.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 prices for Februry delivery continued to rise by around $0.04 to trade around $4.24. TSR20 for delivery in March 2012 fell slightly to trade around $4.17.
In India, NMCE said October deliveries rose by Rs 5, to close at Rs 216 ($4.41) per kilo.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange re-opened after the long holiday,with October deliveries trading around Yuan 29.2 ($4.60) per kilo.
