Tokyo NR prices continue upward trend on 7 October

London -- Rubber prices rose further overnight, bringing prices solidly above $4. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract increased by about 6 yen, to trade around yen 314 ($4.10) per kg on Friday 07 Oct. Shorter-dated prices also increased, to trade around at yen 308.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 prices for March delivery continued to rise by around $0.06 to trade around $4.20 TSR20 for delivery in February 2012 also recovered further to trade around $4.20.
In India, NMCE said October deliveries also rose, to trade around Rs 211 ($4.29) per kilo.
