ERJ staff report (DS)
Shanghai, China -- IGVision is organising a tyre technology conference in Shanghai, scheduled for 14 - 15 December 2011. The event appears to cover a range of topics ranging from retreading aircraft tyres to China's legislation on tyre pressure monitoring systems.
The event mixes keynote presentations; brief presentations and one-on-one pre-booked networking opportunities.
The organisers say, "EU's tyre Labeling Regulation (EU Regulation 1222/2009), LRRT & TPMS requirements; NHTSA's TPMS FMVSS No. 138 and the Tyre Fuel Efficiency Consumer Information Program; Japan's tyre labeling system; Korea's TPMS requirement in the KMVSS and China's TPMS Standards, all these legislations are intended to require tyre manufacturers should pay more attention to product quality and high performance, reduce carbon emission, promote fuel efficiency and improve road safety."
