Croydon tyre recycler reports no injuries in fire

Croydon, UK -- Neolay, the Croydon-based tyre recycler which suffered a fire last week, has thanked the local Fire Services for their actions during the blaze in the early hours of the morning of the 22nd September.
In a statement, Paul Foster, Neolay's Managing Director said, “The most important fact is that no-one was injured and we are grateful that our emergency procedures were in place, and more importantly, followed by the staff on site. The emergency services response could not have been better and we are grateful for their ongoing support on site. We are working with all the relevant agencies to establish the cause of the fire and to prevent further disruption to our neighbours.â€
Eddie Seymour , Sales Director said “ We would also like to assure our customers that contingency plans have already been deployed to minimise any disruption to supply, we hope to be back to 'business as usual' for 85 to 90 percent of our products after this weekend, but would appreciate their understanding while we operate from our temporary offices. We will continue to keep our customers informed of any developments via our website and our social media sitesâ€.
