Yokohama wins two Mercedes fitments

Tokyo - Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., said its Advan Sport V105 tyres have been selected as original equipment for Mercedes-Benz CLS-class 4-door coupe models. Tyres for the CLS-class are in two sizes: 255/40R18 99Y XL and 285/35R18 97Y (the latter only for the rear). The CLS has been sold around the world since its European debut in January 2011. It is the fifth Mercedes-Benz series to come factory-equipped with Yokohama Rubber's tyres. The others are the CL 63 AMG, CL 65 AMG, ML-class AMG, C-class and C-class AMG.

The same tyre range has been selected as original equipment for Mercedes-Benz SLK-class two-seater roadstar models produced by Daimler AG of Germany. Tyres for the SLK-class are in six sizes.

Yokohama tyres are fitted to six Mercedes models: including the CL 63 AMG, CL 65 AMG, ML-class AMG, C-class, C-class AMG and CLS.
