Setzer reshuffles Conti's PLT management

Hanover, Germany - Continental AG has announced management changes to its passenger and light truck tyre (PLT) division, under the continued leadership of Nikolai Setzer.
Effective 1 July, The previous head of worldwide Research & Development PLT, Christian Kötz (41), takes over as head of PLT Replacement EMEA (Europe, the Mideast and Africa), a slot temporarily filled by Nikolai Setzer (40), head of the Passenger and Light Truck Tire division.
David O'Donnell (36) moves into the position of head of worldwide Research & Development PLT, based in Hanover-Stöcken. Working out of Auburn Hills, Michigan, O'Donnell currently oversees Key Account Management The Americas for PLT's OE business.
The current head of the Continental Corporation's Mergers and Acquisitions activities, Dr. Jochen Etzel (51), takes charge of the PLT business unit Replacement The Americas, likewise as of July 1, 2011. He will be based in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Etzel succeeds Matthias Schönberg (44), who will be taking on a new assignment within the Rubber Group by taking over the helm of ContiTech Fluid GmbH at the same time.
In their new functions, Christian Kötz and Dr. Jochen Etzel report to Nikolai Setzer. David O'Donnell reports to the head of the worldwide original equipment business for passenger tyres, Karlheinz Evertz.
