ITMA launches new website for members
ERJ staff report (LMH)
White Colne, UK - Following its recent commitment to developing more effective two-way communication channels, the Imported Tyre Manufacturers' Association (ITMA) has launched a new website for its members.
ITMA said the website has a much improved visual design and has been structured so that it will become a valuable tool and resource for members.
“Our new website will play an increasingly important role in helping us keep members up to date with the very latest technical and legislative changes affecting the industry,†said David Seward, ITMA president.
He added, “By developing a comprehensive central resource, members will be able to access the most up to date rules and regulations, quickly and easily. With so many technical requirements and legislations affecting tyre production, we expect the new site will be widely accessed and become a vital part of our members' business.â€
As the only trade association in Europe to represent the interests of non-European based tyre manufacturers, ITMA's aim is to help these brands compete effectively with a range of services and support. One of the key roles of the association is to keep its members fully informed about all relevant European and UK regulatory and technical information.
Within the new ITMA site, members will be able to access a password-protected area which allows them to view a wide range of bulletins, updates, presentations and other technical information. The association has also added an e-newsletter sign-up facility to the site, so that any company or individual can receive regular updates and bulletins.
Tyre importers and manufacturers looking for further support and assistance within Europe can find out more about how ITMA can help them by visiting the new website at www.itma-europe.com.
