ExxonMobil issues patents on TPV materials

Washington DC -- Exxon Mobil Chemical has published three patents covering its activities in thermoplastic vulcanisates (TPV. ExxonMobil is the world leader in TPV with its Santoprene range of products.

The patents have titles including:

• Thermoplastic vulcanisate compositions having improved extrusion performance and methods of formation thereof
• Process of making a heterogeneous polymer blend
• Process for preparing articles
