Tokyo -- Prices on Tokyo's rubber exchanges recovered somewhat.
On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed at yen 417 ($5.08) per kg on Thursday 21 April. Shorter-dated prices were higher, at yen 440.
In Singapore, Sicom said short-dated RSS3 also rose to around $5.89, with longer-dated contracts trading closer to $5.45 on thin trading. Short-dated TSR 20 closed at $4.98
India's NMCE prices moved up slightly, with April deliveries finishing at around Rs 244 ($5.51) per kilo
In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw prices remain unchanged , with May deliveries seeing highs at around Yuan 38.6 ($5.92) per kilo
