Bridgestone helps with NZ quake relief, too

Tokyo --- In addition to its support with the relief effort following the Tohoku earthquake on 11 March, Bridgestone Corp has said it has donated more than ¥11 million (approximately US$129 thousand) in total to assist with relief efforts following the February 22 earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Bridgestone Corporation donated ¥5 million (approximately US$59 thousand) to the New Zealand Red Cross (2011 Earthquake Appeal). Bridgestone Australia Ltd.(BSAL), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, and Bridgestone New Zealand Ltd., a subsidiary of BSAL, donated NZ$100 thousand (approximately US$70 thousand) to the same organisation.
