NR prices jump once more on supply fears

Tokyo -- Prices on Tokyo's rubber exchanges jumped over the weekend on reports of supply shortages.
On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up by yen 28 at yen 456 ($5.42) per kg on Monday 4 April. Short-dated contracts were higher, at yen 460.
In Singapore, Sicom said short-dated RSS3 prices closed slightly up by $0.12 at around $5.78 on thin trading. Short-dated TSR 20 closed down slightly at $5.04
India's NMCE prices alsomoved higher, with April deliveries finishing at around Rs 240 ($5.40) per kilo
Shanghai Futures Exchange were largely unchanged, with the highest price recorded at yuan 37 ($5.66) per kilo for short-dated contracts. Longer-dated contracts remained level, finishing at around Yuan 35.
