NR prices in mixed moves

    Tokyo -- Prices on Tokyo's rubber exchanges continued to ease on selling pressure. Other markets moved upwards, however.

    On Tokyo's TOCOM Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down about yen 14 at yen 424 ($5.24) per kg on Thursday 24 March. March contracts finished up by 10 yen at yen 455 ($5.62) per kilo.

    In Singapore, Sicom said short-dated RSS3 prices closed at around $5.72, up by $0.18 on yesterday. Short-dated TSR 20 eased, closing at $5.09

    India's NMCE prices also eased, with April deliveries finishing at around Rs 223 ($4.98) per kilo

    Shanghai Futures Exchange increased, with the highest price recorded at yuan 37.6 ($5.73) per kilo for short-dated contracts. Longer-dated contracts increased slightly, finishing at Yuan 36.
