NR prices ease slightly overnight

London -- Rubber prices eased slightly on Friday on profit-taking.

In Tokyo, Tocom's benchmark six-month price eased overnight, falling to 522.1 ($6.26) before rising again to yen 525.4 ($6.30) per kg, in late trading on Friday 18 Feb. About 3 yen below yesterday. Contracts for February delivery touched Yen 544 ($6.52)
In Singapore short-dated RSS3 closed at $6.48 in thin trading, unchanged from Thursday. Short-dated TSR20 also closed down at $5.69 / kg .
Indian prices on the NMCE (National Multi-Commodity Exchange) rose again, closing at Rs 265 ($5.86)/kg for June delivery.
Chinese prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SFE) eased once more, with some April contracts trading at yuan 41.7/kg ($6.34).
