Conti to raise tyre prices in Asia-Pacific region
ERJ staff report (DS)
Hannover, Germany -- Continental AG said it intends to raise tyre prices in the Asia-Pacific region from 1 December.
The company said, "In the Asian and Pacific replacement markets, prices for summer and all-season tyres for cars and light trucks are set to increase by an average up to 5 percent."
It said the move comes in response to the currently very high price level for the main types of natural rubber.
