ContiTech outlines railway airpsring business

Hanover, Germany -- At work between the rails and the passenger compartment, ContiTech air springs contribute to the safety of humans and machines - in high-speed trains running at speeds up to 190 miles an hour, in trams, metro and rapid-transit systems and in regional trains all around the world.
Thus begins an article outlining Conti's contrinution to the airspring business for rail systems. The company says its systems support loads up to 12.5 tonnes each and can respond at frequencies up to 200Hz and temperatures ranging between -40 °C and +40 °C .
