French exam glove market studied

Dublin, Ireland -- F. Favereau & Associes has published a new report titled, The Hospital Market for Examination Gloves in France - Trends 2005-2009 . The 24-page report was first published in September 2010 and is available for a price of around Euro 1350, depending on delivery options.
The publishers say, "The hospital market for (non-sterile) examination gloves steadily increased over years to reach 1.8 billion units valued at 33.4 million Euro in 2009. Powder-free gloves are the most commonly used, accounting for 57 per cent of the total in 2009. Approximately 70 per cent of sales are to public sector hospitals. Polysem/Didactic and Euromedis are the leading suppliers, with CareFusion, Ansell and EP Medical accounting for significant shares. Suppliers of lesser importance include LCH, LVM Diffusion, Cooper, Thermofina, Hartmann and Apura/Groupe Prop."
