Bridgestone restructures European management
ERJ staff report (DS)
Brussels -- Bridgestone Europe management has decided to restructure its organisation with the aim of providing a more efficient and professional service to its customers. The new structure will be in place from 1 Jan 2011.
In the new organisation, the responsibility for sales functions will be divided into 6 geographical regions with their own regional headquarters. The European Headquarters in Brussels will continue to have the overall European control. “This new structure will enable faster decision making, closer to the market. This will increase both service and efficiency and should bring greater benefits to our customersâ€
The Brussels headquarters will also be reorganised to provide better Operational support to the Regional Sales Companies in specialised areas.
Mac Ohashi, CEO of Bridgestone Europe commented, “The European company has grown both organically and geographically in the 20 years since it was established. The time has come to restructure ourselves to ensure that we can meet the needs of the market today and in the futureâ€.
