Bridgestone in management re-shuffle

Tokyo -- Bridgestone Corp. said its board of directors has approved a number of changes in members of the board of directors and corporate officers.
Yoshiyuki Morimoto adds the roles of Assistant to Vice President and Officer, Office of Group CEO Technology Relations to his position of Vice President and Officer Tire Research and Material Development, effective 1 October.
Akihiro Eto temporarily adds the role of General Manager, Electronic Paper Business Planning and Sales Department to his position as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He takes on the position on 1 october, but relinquishes it on 31 October.
Yutaka Yamaguchi loses the roles of Director, Tire Development Division; Concurrently General Manager, Agricultural and Conventional Tire Development Department, but remains Vice President and Officer Tire Products Development.
