Short SWOT analysis on Cabot is published

    Dublin, Ireland -- Datamonitor has published a short report titled, Cabot Corporation. The report was first published in April 2010 and is available for a price of around Euro 100, depending on delivery options.

    The publishers say, "Cabot Corporation (Cabot) is a specialty chemicals and performance materials company. The company's major products include carbon black, fumed silica, inkjet colorants, and cesium formate, among others. The company has its operations mainly in the US, China, and Japan. It is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts and employs about 4,000 people. The company recorded revenues of $2,243 million during the financial year ended September 2009 (FY2009), a decrease of 29.7 percent compared with FY2008. The operating loss of the company was $55 million during FY2009, compared to an operating profit of $164 million in FY2008. The net loss was $77 million in FY2009, as compared to a net profit of $86 million in FY2008."
