Columbian to raise carbon black prices
ERJ staff report (R&PN)
Marietta, Georgia -- Columbian Chemicals Co. will increase prices by 5 cents per pound for all ASTM N-Series and XT-Series-grade carbon blacks, the firm announced May 21.
The price hike is effective July 1. All shipments made on or after July 1 are subject to the price increase, which applies to all non-contract customers in all market segments, Columbian said.
Rising costs spurred the increase, the company said.
