Pirelli wants to make money from F1 bid

Milan, Italy -- Speaking at a analysts' conference in Milan this morning, Pirelli's chief executive, Marco Tronchetti Provera said the aim of Pirelli's bid to the organisers of the Formula 1 racing series is to make money.
He said this would be a change from the past, where there was a net flow of money out of the sponsor.
The statement was made during a Q&A session among analysts.
