Yokohama wins CDC award, again

Tokyo -- Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc. (YTPI), part of the Yokohama Rubber group, has received an Outstanding Recognition for Overall Performance award from Clark Development Corp. (CDC) for the second consecutive year.
CDC, which is the administrator for the Clark Special Economic Zone located north of Manila on Luzon Island, evaluated YTPI for its contribution to the zone in terms of investment, employment, environment-conscious management and worker safety/health, a 28 April Yokohama statement said.
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo gave a commendation certificate to YTPI president Takayuki Hamaya at the awards ceremony held 21 April 2010.
