ITEC develops biggest speaker programme ever

Akron, Ohio -- The 2010 International Tire Exhibition and Conference (ITEC) is developing the US tyre industry's "most comprehensive educational program" ever, according tothe organisers. ITEC 2010 is scheduled for Sept. 21-23 at the I-X Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
A total of 128 speakers (to date) will be presenting papers on more than 135 subjects. In addition, there will be four panels, four workshops and two special presentations in the three-day event.
On the manufacturing side, there will be presentations on non-pneumatic tyres for military applications; "green" papers on productivity improvements and waste reduction in tyre production; environmental claiming strategies for mould fouling; and global trends in development of petroleum free "green" tyres. ITEC will also honour the distinguished technology achievement medalist.
