ERJ staff report (DS)
Washington DC - The US Environmental Protection Agency is proposing that 16 chemicals -- including isoprene monomer -- be added to its TRI (Toxics Release Inventory) list of reportable chemicals. All the chemicals have been classified as â€œreasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogenâ€ by the National Toxicology Program (NTP) in their Report on Carcinogens (RoC) document.
Interested parties can submit their comments to the EPA using the links below. It expects to finalise the rule in early 2011
