Sibur launches competition for new rubber applications

Moscow -- Russian petrochemical giant Sibur has launched a Russia-based competition to ideintify new applications for synthetic rubber and also for polypropylene. Prizes total grants of Rouble 1.5 million (euro 41 000). In the rubber section, the top prize is an award of Rouble 300 000 (euro 7655)
In a press release, Sibur said anyone can enter, using the links below, though the competition is mainly aimed at Russian educational institutions and research establishments.
Sibur has recently opened a neodymium-catalysed polybutadiene unit at Voronezh, and has developed a liquid SBR material
