Yokohama outlines motorsport plans for 2010

Tokyo -- Yokohama Rubber has outlined its plans for motorsport in 2010 as part of its efforts to promote its Advan tyre brand.
The company will for the fifth consecutive year supply Advan tyres to the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). Beginning this year, Yokohama will supply all 35 teams with eco-racing tyres offering good grip with better environmental performance in both dry and wet conditions. The tyres will be used in a total of 24 races, including the 12 rounds that begin in Brazil on March 7 and finish up Macau.
The company plans to supply WTCC spec tyres to the "European Touring Car Championship" (ETCC) and to touring car races in Sweden, Denmark, Russia and other countries.
Yokohama also supplies tyres to the International F3 Macau Grand Prix (China)]
Also in China, Yokohama will from this year until 2012, Yokohama Rubber is the sole supplier to the China Circuit Championship and will be supplying Super 2000 class and Super 1600 class Advan racing tyres.
Yokohama will also support "Jaguar RSR," in the Le Mans 24 Hours. As it celebrates its 75 year, Jaguar is returning to Le Mans to enter the "XKR GT2" in the LM-GT2 class.
The company supports the Cusco World Rally team in the Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) and Kondo Racing in the Super GT based in Malaysia as well as a range of other sport activities
