Showa Denko reports fall in chloroprene sales

Tokyo -- While reporting its annual results, Showa Denko KK said sales volumes of chloroprene rubber fell in 2009, due to the automotive slump. It added that prices fell as well.
Overall, in its chemicals division, sales fell slightly to yen 91.89 billion from yen 93.32 billion.
