Frankfurt, Germany -- Datamonitor has published a new report titled, Evonik Degussa GmbH - SWOT Analysis. The 24-page report was first published in July 2008 and is available for a price of around Euro 100, depending on delivery options.

The publishers say, "Evonik Degussa is engaged in the manufacturing specialty chemicals. The company offers a range of products such as carbon black, silanes, hydrogen peroxide, and methionine which are provided to various end markets. The company primarily operates in Europe, North America, and Asia. It is headquartered in Essen, Germany and employs about 34,000 people. The company recorded revenues of E10,931 million (approximately $14,975.5 million) during the fiscal year ended December 2007, an increase of 1.4% over 2006. The operating profit of the company was E1,031 million (approximately $1,412.5 million) during fiscal year 2007, as compared with an operating profit of E223 million (approximately $294.4 million) in 2006. The net profit was E507 million (approximately $694.6 million) in fiscal year 2007, a decrease of 63.5% compared with 2006."
