Michelin selects Business Intelligence partner

Paris -- Michelin has selected a business Intelligence partner. Accenture and Atos Origin become Michelin's partners in building, supporting, developing and implementing applications' management of its core business: R&D, Manufacturing and Business Intelligence worldwide. It is a three year contract.
The goal of this new organization is to deliver to Michelin enhanced operating efficiency and more responsive, flexible information systems. Cost and quality performance will also be improved, said Atos Origin in a press release.

Our business skills, our innovation capabilities, our worldwide presence and our industrialized approach for the development and support of applications will help Michelin to develop worldwide and reach its objectivesâ€, say Didier Zeitoun, CEO of Atos Origin in France and Sergio Colella, Products Lead for Accenture in Europe.
Atos Origin is a leading international IT services company created through the merger of Atos and Origin. Since then, the Group has acquired several strategic groups.
