Yokohama brings in new guard at senior management level
Senior management changes at Yokohama

Tokyo, Japan - Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., has made changes to the responsibilities of its senior management, subject to approval by a general meeting of shareholders to be held on 27 June 2008.
Tatsunari Kojima has been named a Senior Managing Corporate Officer in addition to his duties as director. A further four executives have added the title of director to their duties: Norio Karashima, Toshihiko Suzuki , Hideo Fujiwara, Kinya Kawakami.
Meanwhile four senior executives are stepping down as directors and will adopt new roles as advisors to the board. Heading the list is Yasuo Tominaga, Chairman and Representative Director who becomes a senior advisor, while Keigo Ueda, Takashi Sugimoto and Tetsuya Mizoguchi all become advisors.
Yokohama also made some changes lower down the management chain, listed in a company press release.
The company will also introduce organizational changes from 27 June 2008. In administrative departments, Corporate Social Responsibility Division and Corporate Planning Division will be established. The name of Environmental Conservation Department will be changed to CSR & Environmental Affairs Department.
