Pelmar Engineering buys machinery from Slovak plant
Ramat Hasharon, Israel -- Used machinery dealer Pelmar Engineering Ltd. has acquired all of the production equipment of an innertube and flap plant in Puchov, Slovak Republic.
Pelmar said the deal brought in more than 700 tube and flap manufacturing machines, moulds and tooling to make bicycle and motorcycle tubes and passenger, light truck, truck agricultural and off-the-road tubes and flaps. The firm said it prefers to sell the equipment as a group, or it will divest individual machines later to its global customer base.
Pelmar specialises in the supply of used, reconditioned and new machines to the tire and rubber industry. The company said that last year it bought equipment from two closed factories in the US, along with several others in Europe and Asia
