Bluestar silicones raises prices, opens website

Lyon, France -- Bluestar Silicones has announced additional price increses on its products from 1 April, 2008. The company said it is increasing price by between 7 percent and 15 percent depending on country and product. These increases are in addition to the announcements made at the end of 2007.
The company blamed the increases on higher raw material costs.
Bluestar Silicones also said it has re-vamped its website. The company said its new website is, "more versatile, customer-oriented and user-friendly, and is currently available in 3 languages." These are American, French and Brazilian.
