Charlotte, North Carolina -- Carlisle Companies Inc. has reorganised its business into seven entities and combined its tyre and wheel, and trailer businesses to create the Transportation Products Group.
Fred Sutter, formerly a vice president with Graco Inc., will be the new group's president.
Sutter is the second high-profile Graco executive to join Carlisle in the past seven months. In June Carlisle hired David Roberts, Graco chairman, president and CEO, to take over those same roles at Carlisle, succeeding Richmond McKinnish.
The Transportation Products Group is expected to account for about a quarter of Carlisle´s business.
The company said current financial reporting segments will be reviewed and future changes in segmentation may be necessary to reflect the company´s management structure.
