Tokyo rubber breaks yen 300 / kg level

Tokyo -- Rubber prices continue to drift upwards from their already-high levels. In Tokyo, the benchmark 6-month futures price closed at yen 301.8 ($2.83), up 8.8 yen on the day. This is the first time the price has breached 300 yen this year.
In Singapore, Sicom's 12-month RSS1 contract closed at Sing$3.95 ($2.79) /kg. The 12-month RSS3 contract closed at $2.778 /kg
