Titan to raise prices by as much as 7 percent

Quincy, Illinois -- Titan Tire Corp. will implement a price increase of up to 7 percent on Titan, Goodyear and General branded OTR (off-the-road), farm and construction tyres as of 1 March.

The company said in a 16 Jan statement that the increase will offset rising raw material, energy and transportation costs.

Certain tyre prices may rise in excess of 7 percent due to realignment and positioning of the product, added Titan.
