Yokohama names new VP of administration
Fullerton, California -- Yokohama Tire Corp. has chosen veteran automotive administrator Rex Simpson to fill the company's vacant vice president of administration position.
“Rex is one of the most accomplished human resource executives I've had the pleasure to meet,†said Jim MacMaster, executive vice president of Fullerton-based Yokohama's business division.
Simpson will replace Steve Kessing, who retired in December after 17 years with the company.
“We congratulate Steve Kessing on his retirement and on his years of contribution to the growth and health of our company,†MacMaster said. “Without Steve's experience and leadership, we could not have been successful. I am confident he'll sleep better knowing he left his department in Rex's capable hands.â€
Simpson's past experience includes working the past 13 years in human resources at American Honda Motor Co. Inc. in Torrance, California.
