ERJ staff report (SS) Tokyo -- Nihon Michelin Tire Co. Ltd. will raise the delivery price of passenger car and light truck summer tyres, truck and bus summer tyres, and earthmover industrial and agricultural tyres in the Japanese replacement market, starting from 1 Feb.
On 1 March passenger car and light truck summer tyres and truck and bus tyres, including tubes and flaps, will rise by an average of 5 and 7 percent respectively
Earthmover/industrial tyres will increase by around 8 percent as of 1 March and delivery charges for agricultural tyres will rise by 3 percent, effective 1 Feb.
Michelin said in a 26 Dec statement that the increase is due to rising raw material prices.
