Trelleborg completes UK divestment
ERJ staff report (SS) Helsingborg, Sweden -- Trelleborg has announced that the divestment of its operations in Coventry, UK, which are part of Trelleborg Automotive UK, has been completed.
The operations are part of the anti-vibration business and manufacture air springs and will now be taken over by the company's management, said a 20 Dec statement from the company.
The divestment, which is expected to lead to a book capital loss of around SEK 90 million (€9.5 million) before tax, is part of Trelleborg's “strategic and operational action programme within the automotive business area.â€
Trelleborg hopes that the divestment will generate a positive cash flow of approximately SEK 15 million.
