SI Group lifts prices for tackifier and reinforcing resins

Schenectady, New York -- SI Group and its affiliates have announced a global price increase on all tackifier and reinforcing resin products for automotive tyre applications effective from 1 Jan, 2008.

The base price of tackifier resins will increase by $.20/kg, and reinforcing resin prices will increase by $.10/kg, unless existing customer contracts provide otherwise.

The company did not give a reason for the increase.
