US plastics company buys Canadian rubber processor

Vancouver, British Columbia -- Redwood Plastics Corp., a division of The Redco Group of companies has acquired BC Rubber Supply Ltd.
Redwood said BC Rubber will operate as a separate entity and that Gerry Balmer and staff will continue to operate at its current location in Langley, British Columbia.
BC rubber operates a 25,000 square foot facility in Langley. The company manufactures and distributes roller recovering, compression moulded products, urethane products, die cut custom gaskets and rubber to metal vulcanisation. The company also claims to have Western Canada's largest inventory of sheet rubber for all applications.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
