Verona. Italy -- Marangoni Group said it has begun a process that will result in a change to its strategies and organisational structure.
Massimo De Alessandri, CEO of Marangoni Spa said, "In emerging markets, and in particular in the BRIC area (Brazil - Russia - India - China), there will be rapid and considerable growth in the retreading sector, while the situation regarding new tyres will vary considerably according to the level of competition and local technical needsâ€.He also noted, "the increased presence, in the truck tyre retreading sector, of manufacturers of new tyres and large retail chains."
Talking about the market for car tyres in developed countries, he continued, "In particular this regards the new automated production island that we are testing with the aim of ensuring the maximum quality of our tyres, together with maximum manufacturing flexibility. And then, being European manufacturers, we will focus even more on our range of high and ultra high performance tyres, as well as winter tyresâ€
De Alessandri said as a result, Marangoni is developing a strategy and corporate structure: "firstly the expansion of our business worldwide." Secondly, he said, "“We will change our approach to the market in the truck tyre retreading sector, evolving from the supply of individual components to the development of made-to-measure systems and solutions."
