Avon wins NIOSH approval for Z-Seven SCBA
Melksham, UK -Â Avon Rubber plc said its Viking Z Seven has received National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) certification and full approval to the new National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 2007 standards, these being requirements in order to sell SCBA systems within the United States. The Viking Z Seven is Avon's latest advance in Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) which began setting the industry standard for innovation when first introduced in 1999.
The products are made by Avon ISI, which is based in Lawrenceville Georgia, is part of Avon's Protection business, specialising in the development, production and sales of a range of SCBA for fire, rescue, law enforcement and military applications.
