Goodyear spent $1.5 million to lobby US government in first six months
Washington DC -Â The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co said it spent $1.52 million on lobbying activities in the first six months of 2007.
In a 14-page disclosure form submitted to the US Senate on 13 August 2007, the company named rolling resistance as one of its top areas of concern. The company also lobbied to increase the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) requirements.
The company relied on two key staff members, Isabel Jasinowski, vice president of government relations and Mark Burtschi, director of federal and state affairs.
