Sicom announces new associate members
Singapore - The Singapore Commodity Exchange (SICOM) has announced two new associate members, ED&F Man Malaysia Sdn Bhd and S.C. Heuston & Co (Rubber) Ltd.
S. C. Heuston & Co (Rubber) Ltd is a London based company operating as a broker for physical rubber. Steve Heuston started his rubber career in 1975 with Harrisons & Crosfield Ltd and along with Andy Speer, they started this company in 1995. The company is a broker member of the Rubber Trade Association of Europe (RTAE) and an Associate Member of the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB).
ED&F Man Malaysia Sdn. Bhd is owned by ED&F Man France, a French company, and the ultimate holding company is ED&F Man Holdings Ltd which was incorporated in United Kingdom. The Company is principally engaged in the business of dealing in natural rubber and latex, tropical oils and biodiesel and acting as buying agents of rubber,latex tropical oil and biodiesel for the holding company and various related companies overseas.
SICOM is Singapore's regulated marketplace for the trading of commodity futures and the world's price discovery centre for natural rubber prices, providing the benchmark rates at which more than 50% of the world's natural rubber trade flows is priced. IE Singapore is the regulatory authority of SICOM under the Commodity Trading Act.
